Lesson Information
For beginner students age 5-12, I recommend starting with 30-minute lessons. Beginners age 13-18, 30 or 45-minute lessons are both recommended. For adult learners, let’s chat about your learning goals to decide what suits your objectives and schedule the best.
At-home lessons
There is a $5 fee for each lesson within 10 miles distance that I travel to teach at your home. For every extra 10 miles, there is an additional $5 increment. I travel up to 50 miles within the radius of Gang Mills, NY.

Lesson Materials
Books
Method books and music scores needed will be assigned ahead of time, please acquire the materials as soon as possible and no later than the agreed lesson schedule timeline. I will recommend you some music stores online as appropriate.
Supplementary electronic materials
Some lesson materials will be shared with you electronically. Whether you choose to print out the sheet music or use any tablets for display, it is the responsibility of the student to prepare the electronic handouts distributed to you by the teacher. Although not a requirement, I highly recommend students to bring printed copies to each lesson, so that students take advantage to learn score-marking and note-taking skills during lessons.

Pencil, eraser, metronome, practice journal, timer.
Payment Plan
Tuitions and fees are collected monthly (every 4 lessons); due by the first lesson of each month. Acceptable payment methods include Zelle, cash and check. If you have needs for an adaptive plan, please do not hesitate to communicate with me. I am happy to work out any feasible alternatives that serves your financial condition better.
Cancellation policy & Make-up Lessons
I am happy to provide a make-up lesson whenever possible within the two weeks range of a scheduled lesson (both before and after) as I believe consistency is the key to your success. On the occasion that I must miss your lesson time, I will reschedule it with you within the two-week range under normal circumstances. As much as I don’t like you to miss what you signed up for, I need you to help me to run the makeups smoothly. Therefore, unless it is an emergency, please contact me as soon as you know that you will miss a lesson time beforehand. Cancellation of a lesson by student less than 24-hour before the scheduled lesson time will not be guaranteed for a make-up.
